Solutions for local rainwater management (LAR solutions) are aimed at municipalities that wish to help citizens manage rainwater locally.

As part of the LAR consultation, one of our energy advisors meets with the household and inspects the property, usually in connection with an energy check.
LAR is an increasingly widespread method of handling rainwater from roof drains and paved surfaces. Instead of investing in costly and inflexible expansions of the sewer system, the principle is to delay, evaporate, infiltrate or reuse rainwater where it falls.
In addition, LAR also has a positive impact on biodiversity and climate adaptation.
The process is discussed during the meeting with the homeowner, along with the citizen’s wishes and preferences in this area.
Based on the meeting and the property inspection, a report is prepared describing the current situation of the property and the possibilities for installing the following local rainwater management solutions, as well as their effects:
