Target Group Insigths
We have extensive experience in conducting audience analyses, so that municipalities or similar organizations can gain a deeper understanding of their citizens – and then plan sustainable initiatives based on the specific target group. Based on audience insights, we can tailor our advice either individually, where we take into account the person’s type and preferences, or focus on the community and organization, when it comes to apartment budlings.
Transition has carried out a wide range of audience analyses of citizens’ decision-making processes, motivations, and barriers. This has resulted in the development of six archetypes /personas and several models, including the decision wheel, which we use to understand where citizens are in the decision-making process regarding energy renovation.
We do not view energy renovation for a private homeowner as a linear process, but rather as an iterative process. Therefore, when advising, we prioritize projects and initiatives that align with what the citizen is interested in and has the financial means for. It is essential for the realization of energy-saving measures that consideration is given to the fact that the citizens’ decisions are not solely based on economic rationality. They also depend on a range of other factors from the context in which the citizen is situated.
The goal of our advice is to help the citizen move forward in the process toward action. Therefore, it is important that our advisors ask about both the process and the citizen’s situation during the conversation, so that the citizen always makes progress in the process, regardless of how far they are in terms of clarification and realization.
